Southco introduces its new series of rotating closures in miniature size, the versatile R4-05: a perfect combination of safety and resistance guaranteed without sacrificing space or functionality.
The latest addition to the successful R4 one- and two-stage rotary seals family is 60% smaller than Southco’s smaller previous rotary seal. Despite its dimensions, which reach down to 46 mm high, provides a hidden mechanism capable of offering greater security and resistance than any other miniature closure; to this is added the comfort implied by its impact closure system: just push to close. Another of the added values of this product is the possibility of remote operation in combination with Southco cables and actuators.
Its compact design minimizes the projections inside the enclosure, which, together with its size, makes the R4-05 an ideal option in applications with significant space limitations; In addition, its symmetrical design opens an infinite range of possibilities for assembly and adaptation. Also, its integrated damper eliminates noise and annoying vibrations that may occur in the application, for example, in any means of transport that generates rattling.
