3ª edición de Advanced Manufacturing Awards

Madrid, September 16, 2024. The Advanced Manufacturing Awards, the prestigious industrial sector awards organized by the Advanced Manufacturing Madrid trade show, have announced the nominees for their third edition. The awards recognize the most innovative and promising projects in the industry, reflecting the entrepreneurial talent that is leading the future towards a more sustainable, digitalized, and connected supply chain.

The AM Awards, sponsored once again by EMKA, honor seven categories, including: “Best Innovation in Product Design and Development,” “Most Disruptive Technology in the Production Process,” “Most Innovative Technology in Composites Manufacturing,” “Best Automated Production and Robotic Integration,” “Smart Factory: Best Connected Production Chain,” and “Best Sustainable Project and Circular Economy.”

Once the nominated projects have been revealed, 80% of the final decision will be based on the deliberation of a panel of experts, which includes members from leading companies and institutions such as Antonio de la Presilla (Endesa), Antton Meléndez Arranz (Spanish Institute of Engineering), Carlos González (IMDEA Materials), Eva García (Repsol), Gala Maturana (EIT Manufacturing West), Juan Miguel Poyatos Díaz (School of Industrial Organization), Juan Ramón Marijuán (Segainvex), Nerea Ordás (CEIT), Núria Salán (Catalan Society of Technology), Pedro Romero (Siemens), and Xoan Xosé Fernández (Rey Juan Carlos University and Sampe Europe).

The remaining 20%, which will be decisive, will be in the hands of the public vote, which will allow people to choose their favorite projects through the Advanced Manufacturing Awards website until October 30. The winners will be announced, and the awards ceremony will take place on the first day of Advanced Manufacturing Madrid, November 20, at 4:00 PM, in the Schaeffler Hall (Hall 9 of IFEMA).

“We are proud to celebrate the Advanced Manufacturing Awards for the third consecutive year. Without a doubt, the industrial talent in Spain is remarkable and should be recognized for its great efforts. It has been challenging to choose among all the projects submitted due to the great potential of this year’s initiatives. We wish the finalists the best of luck and look forward to meeting the winners at the final gala during Advanced Manufacturing Madrid,” says Oscar Barranco, Managing Director of Easyfairs Iberia.
