The next edition of Advanced Manufacturing Madrid, to be held on 5 and 6 November 2025, already has 68% of its space booked.
Madrid, November 22, 2024. Advanced Manufacturing Madrid has successfully concluded its sixteenth edition, reaffirming its leadership as a must-attend event for the advanced industry and technological innovation sectors. The fair, which includes the MetalMadrid, Composites Madrid, and Robomática Madrid exhibitions, has once again served as a catalyst for opportunities in the manufacturing industry. Specifically, it attracted more than 13,500 attendees, facilitated 58,424 business interactions, and featured 625 exhibiting companies.
“This year, Advanced Manufacturing Madrid not only consolidated its relevance nationally, but also demonstrated once again that it is an essential and enriching forum for the sector, acting as a bridge between suppliers and buyers. We have created a space where innovation, technology, and business converge, which is key to further driving the competitiveness of the industrial sector,” said Oscar Barranco, General Director of Easyfairs Iberia.
Artificial intelligence and its impact on industry were one of the key topics of this edition. In this regard, Silvia Leal, a digital transformation expert and keynote speaker, emphasized that the impact of artificial intelligence on the manufacturing industry is not new, as this sector is largely leading the integration of AI into other areas.
“Currently, there is a growing tendency to think that AI will eliminate jobs, but in reality, most official reports indicate that it will create more jobs than it will destroy. What will happen is that certain tasks currently performed by people will be automated, but many new tasks will emerge that will still require human intervention,” Leal stated.
Beatriz de Dios, Total Delivery Cost & Strategy Manager of Iberia Manufacturing Pole at Renault Group Spain, also praised the fair as an unmissable event, particularly due to its conference program: “The experience at Advanced Manufacturing Madrid 2024 has been very positive. I especially highlight the high quality of the presentations. For companies like Renault Group, with a Manufacturing 4.0 strategy, it is crucial to stay up to date with the latest innovations, and fairs like this are key to that.”
In addition, Oscar Barranco added, “Sustainable initiatives are not only necessary but also generate competitive advantages in the market. Advanced Manufacturing Madrid demonstrates the value of creating spaces to debate and progress in this area.”
Highlighted Activities and Innovations
Advanced Manufacturing Madrid 2024 reinforced its position as the leading industrial innovation event by offering a program of activities designed to foster learning and knowledge exchange.
The Tech Congress 4.0 was the educational hub of the event, structured in thematic spaces such as the Schaeffler Hall, which explored the latest advancements in robotics and artificial intelligence; the Tech Forum 4.0 – Dassault Systèmes & ASECOS Hall, where technological islands allowed attendees to interact with practical solutions like exoskeletons and cutting-edge cobots; and the Universidad Pyme Hall, which featured prominent influencers in the automotive industry and talks focused on the digitalization of Spain’s industrial fabric.
One of the main innovations was the expansion of the Composites Ágora, which has become the reference space for composite materials with a 60% increase in its exhibition area. This year, specialized content on high-performance design and advanced manufacturing was introduced, essential for sectors like automotive and aerospace, with a special focus on sustainability applied to these materials.
Finally, the success of the Innovation Tours and Live! Demo Machinery was undeniable, with hundreds of professionals signing up for guided tours that highlighted the most cutting-edge innovations in manufacturing, automation, digitalization, materials, and sustainability, providing an immersive experience that uniquely connected theory and practice.
Preparing for the 2025 Edition
Next year, Advanced Manufacturing will present a new image and continue to shape the industrial sector’s agenda with a double stop for professionals in advanced manufacturing. The Madrid edition will take place on November 5-6, 2025, at IFEMA, already with 68% of the exhibition space reserved. Additionally, Advanced Manufacturing Barcelona will hold its second edition on October 1-2, 2025, with 119 confirmed exhibitors.
“The 2025 edition will be another step forward in our mission to drive the transformation of the industrial sector. With a new branding, we will continue to invest in innovation, sustainability, and the connection between professionals and companies, consolidating ourselves as the leading event for discovering the trends and technologies that will shape the future of the industry,” concludes Óscar Barranco.
