Engineering Simulation and Scientific Software (ESSS) is a Brazilian multinational firm based in Florianópolis/SC. We offer the most advanced Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools in fluid dynamics, structural analysis, electromagnetism, and multiphysics, including customized software tailored to the needs of each client. ESSS is an ANSYS Elite Channel Partner, an award granted to only a select few of more than 80 ANSYS partners.

ESSS serves more than 500 clients across many industries: oil and gas, aerospace, automotive, metalworking, energy, turbomachinery, chemical processes, and mining.
Created in 1995 from the Laboratory of Numerical Simulation in Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), ESSS’s main goal was to successfully link and apply academic research and knowledge to industry. In the same year, ESSS developed customized software for the Petrobras Research Center and received the Fenasoft Max Award for the development of the COI-lib programming library. Currently, ESSS has more than 180 employees in its offices in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Spain, France, and the United States.
