Castelomega has participated as a sponsor of the Fórmula Student team ETSEIB Motorsport, a team of students of the last courses of the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyeria Industrial de Barcelona (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) that has designed a totally electric racing car to participate in international competitions. Castelomega has helped both with the facilities and equipments and the electrical and mechanical preparation of the motor. The ETSEIB Motorsport team has competed at a great level in two international competitions in Germany and Spain, against teams of some of the best universities in Europe. They finished in the 13th position of electric cars in the Montmeló circuit, the best positioned team of the state.
