In 2021, they conducted their first crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter with the OKU Desk laser engraver and cutter, reaching people in over 22 countries and establishing international ties. This success was repeated in 2023 with the Red Fox 2 CNC milling machine, further expanding their global presence and exports, reflecting their commitment to internationalization and strengthening their position in the global market.
The internationalization of Nomad Technologies has been supported by ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, a public entity that facilitates the internationalization of Spanish companies. ICEX has been crucial in the expansion of Nomad Technologies in markets such as LATAM and the EU. ICEX’s visit to their facilities in Valladolid allowed them to learn about the production processes and the functioning of CNC machinery, reinforcing collaboration and support for internationalization.
They have also participated in the ICEX Next program, aimed at Spanish SMEs and startups that want to grow in international markets. This program has been fundamental in defining effective internationalization strategies, with personalized advice and economic subsidies.
Another milestone in their internationalization in LATAM has been their consolidation in Peru. In 2022, more than 40 Red Fox milling machines were sent to the country, providing schools and higher education institutions with cutting-edge technology to reduce the digital divide. In 2023, a second shipment of Ion Plasma PRO machines was made, further strengthening their presence in the region. The company remains committed to its global expansion, maintaining high standards of quality and service.
