More than “just” ceramics: Klingspor introduces CEVOLUTION technology
Abrasives with ceramic grit have been known for their aggressiveness and durability. Klingspor has now advanced this further with its new high-performance ceramic abrasives using “CEVOLUTION” technology. In addition to ceramic grit, these products leverage nearly 130 years of expertise in abrasives.
Ceramic grit offers key advantages over corundum, such as a microcrystalline structure that promotes self-sharpening and consistent breakage. It typically removes more material, but grit alone doesn’t guarantee optimal performance in all applications.
CEVOLUTION: Optimized for performance
In practice, insufficient contact pressure or grinding speed can prevent ceramic grit from breaking properly, leading to clogging and poor results. Klingspor’s CEVOLUTION products are holistically optimized, adjusting components based on the application to maximize performance.
