Piher has designed its own expansion system to develop a clamping bolt for weld hole tables. This system allows clamping along the entire length of the bolt, not just at the lower end as the standard bolt usually does.
This system is based on a set of expansion rings that expand when tightened with air-treated conical nuts. Both the body and the spindle are made of carbon steel.
The handle is a classic ergonomic PIHER design, folding and replaceable, with a steel core.
