Description

PTFE (also known as Teflon®) is a plastomer with high crystallinity: at 340 ° C, it still retains a high viscosity, for which special transformation techniques are required to produce finished parts and semi-finished products. It can be used in a temperature range between -200 °C to + 260 °C.

Peculiar characteristics of PTFE:

• High thermal resistance.
• High resistance to chemicals and solvents.
• High anti-adhesion.
• High dielectric properties.
• Low coefficient of friction.
• Non-toxicity.

At GAPI SEALING SYSTEM we offer a wide range of PTFE products, from raw materials to manufacture parts with numerical control machines, to finished parts.

The LANZA factory develops and produces VIRGIN PTFE, and PTFE with various fillers, according to the client’s requirements. The most common loads are:

• PTFE + 40% BRONZE
• PTFE + 60% BRONZE
• PTFE CARBON GRAPHITE
• PTFE + 25% FIBERGLASS
