Advanced Manufacturing Madrid unveils all the new features of its 16th edition
- Among this year’s strongest and most innovative points, the fair organised by Easyfairs has created the Tech Forum, a space dedicated to the latest trends in technological innovation for the supply chain, with demonstrations of machinery in operation and the most inspiring presentations.
- Also for the first time, the fair will host the Universidad Pyme congress, focused on the digitalisation of small and medium-sized companies in the metal sector, promoted by FUNDAE.
- Finally, the most popular contents of MetalMadrid, Composites and Robomática will be back: the TECH CONGRESS 4.0, with a new programme of conferences featuring experts and companies; the Innovations Tours, to showcase the industry’s most promising solutions; the Composites Ágora, an exclusive space for advanced materials and composites, as well as the eagerly awaited Advanced Manufacturing Awards gala.
The countdown is on for the 16th edition of Advanced Manufacturing Madrid, the leading trade fair for the industrial sector organised by Easyfairs, which returns this year on 20 and 21 November to IFEMA with many new features. With last year’s edition reaching 13,475 unique visitors, the highest in its history, it is now reopening its doors with a new edition that will bring together more than 600 exhibiting companies.
With the aim of offering companies and professionals a key space for business and knowledge transfer, the event is expanding the content of its three thematic areas: MetalMadrid, Composites and Robomática Madrid. In addition to the exhibition area that will bring together the most prominent companies in these sectors to showcase their latest developments, Advanced Manufacturing Madrid returns with a programme of talks and activities that all attendees will be able to enjoy with leading topics such as robotics and automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), sustainability, digital twins and metallurgy.
The TECH CONGRESS will also return with a total of four training rooms. Along with the Schaeffler Hall or the Composites Ágora, new halls will be added such as the SME University Congress by FUNDAE focused on boosting technological innovation and the digitalisation of small and medium-sized companies, or the Tech Forum, a forum entirely dedicated to new technologies for the supply chain, with live machinery, as well as conferences given by industry benchmarks.
Tech Forum: creating an industry at the cutting edge of technology
The integration of technological solutions within the supply chain has proven to have a real potential impact on industrial competitiveness and efficiency, charting what will be a promising future for the sector. Aware of the growing professional demand for new technologies, Advanced Manufacturing MadridEasyfairs will host for the first time a space dedicated to the latest trends in robotics and digitalisation, where visitors will be able to interact and learn how technologies and methods support the improvement of efficiency, productivity and ergonomics in global operations.
The Tech Forum, sponsored by Dassault Systèmes and organised in conjunction with Global Lean, will offer a technology demonstration area over the two days of the show, as well as a room for knowledge transfer on new processes. Visitors will be able to see how automation and collaborative robotics are at work in all stages of the supply chain, from machining the part, through modelling, to testing its quality. This area will also host the 1st Forum on Operational Excellence in the automotive sector, integrating suppliers with the actors in the global supply chain.
SME University: opportunities for the digitalisation of metal businesses
This year, AMM will be the setting for the renowned SME University organised by FUNDAE (State Foundation for Employment Training), where the self-employed and entrepreneurs will be able to train in skills for the digitalisation of small and medium-sized companies in the metal sector. During the two days of the fair, this space will offer different talks with training content to inspire and encourage the exchange of knowledge and synergies between SME professionals.
TECH CONGRESS 4.0: the appointment par excellence with the future of industry
Like every year, Advanced Manufacturing organises the TECH CONGRESS with the aim of transmitting the latest trends, challenges and innovations in the manufacturing sector, as well as success stories through round tables and presentations by leading companies, such as HispaRob, CT Ingenieros and Schaeffler. This edition will not be lacking in discussion spaces featuring automotive, AI, sustainability, robotics and automation, surface treatment, metallurgy, energy efficiency, digital twins and connected industry, among many more that will be unveiled in the coming months.
The Schaeffler Hall, the large AMM 2024 auditorium as part of the congress, will be the venue for the Keynote Session, the event’s keynote address, which this year will be given by one of the leading voices in the field of new technologies, Silvia Leal. In addition, this auditorium will host the Conference with AIAS (Association of Surface Finishing Industries), which will feature content such as smart materials applied to the railway sector, with success stories led by OEMs and integrators, among other companies and sectors.
Composites Ágora brings together the industrial talent of composite materials in Spain
Advanced Manufacturing Madrid, through Composites Madrid, is the only trade fair in our country dedicated to composite materials and their applications. Within this, the Composites Ágora Hall will be an exhibition, networking and conference space, which will make the innovation of the composite materials industry available to all visitors.
The first day will feature several round tables and talks, such as the one led by Enrique García, head of the technology department of the UK National Composites Centre, as well as the participation in the exhibition programme of the SAMPE Europe association, among many other companies and associations that will be announced. In addition, on the second day of the event, the 5th Edition of the Composites Day will take place, organised by AEMAC, the Spanish Composites Association.
Innovation Tours and Lives! Demo Machinery: the most promising solutions on the market
This year sees the return of the Innovation Tours, which will show attendees the most innovative technologies and products in their sector, presented and explained by the companies nominated for the Advanced Manufacturing Awards, the awards for industrial excellence organised by Easyfairs. This edition will have thematic tracks on sustainability, composites and materials, connected industry, automation and robotics, and innovations in production and finishing. In addition, attendees will also be able to take part in the Lives! Demo Machinery, to discover all of the event’s machine tools in motion.
Advanced Manufacturing Awards ceremony
The highly anticipated Advanced Manufacturing Awards ceremony, sponsored by Emka, will announce the winners of its seven categories live on the first evening of the show. In addition, Easyfairs will organise a central exhibition with all the nominated projects of the edition, to inspire the public with the talent and innovation developed by the participating companies.
