The company has recently led the Addimon project, funded by the Hazitek program, to develop monitoring software for 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing processes.
Zitu, a company with 20 years of history and headquarters in Donostia, is specialized in software development for multiple sectors, with the aim of becoming a technological partner for companies through digital transformation. In recent years it has managed to grow remarkably, “thanks to the investment made in R&D. In the last 4 years we have tripled our turnover and our workforce has doubled”, says Iñaki Ugarteburu, CEO of Zitu. It currently has 20 professionals on its staff, and 95% of its sales are in Euskal Herria.
Zitu has four strategic lines of business. The first is aimed at the service sector, with the examples of the Erpin ERP platform, a tool to make purchases, sales, control expenses, and obtain customer information, among others, and the Sogest software, developed to facilitate all management of a gastronomic society and that currently has more than 250 facilities. The second line, called Zitu Social, collaborates with associations or public entities directed above all at communication issues.
For its part, Zitu Industria is the company’s great commitment in recent years, with the aim of continuing to advance in Industry 4.0. “We are investing many of our resources in R&D projects with the aim of creating innovative solutions for the industrial sector and accessible to both large and small companies”, declares Iñaki Ugarteburu. Finally, Zitu Artificial Intelligence is a new area for the future, working to incorporate AI into its products. The company is currently immersed in an Artificial Intelligence project applied to the auxiliary services industry called IAIOA.
