- Quality, Waste Management and Continuous Improvement
- Collaborative Integration Island
- Island of Safety and Ergonomics
Design and R&D Island
The following key technologies, focused on design and innovation, will be demonstrated on this island:
• Dassault Systemes – CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE: Advanced 3D design platform that allows modelling products and simulating their behaviour in real scenarios. It will be demonstrated how this tool enhances the creation of innovative solutions in the design process.
• Eurecat – Incremental Sheet Forming (ISF) parts: ISF technology will revolutionise the design of complex geometries through incremental sheet metal deformation. In this demonstration, parts produced with ISF will be displayed, showing how this innovative process breaks the limitations of traditional manufacturing methods.
Island Operations and Production
The following key technologies, focused on operations and production, will be presented on this island in a demonstrative manner:
• MIM – Laser Welding Machine: The water-based fiber laser welding machine, available in 1500W, 2000W and 3000W, is ideal for long-term work, offering consistent performance in industrial processes. It stands out for its exceptional welding force, which guarantees long-lasting joints, and its efficiency, which minimizes maintenance costs. With a temperature sensor for precise control and an adjustable laser mode, it adapts to the specific needs of each task, providing versatility in each project.
• Universal Robots – Machining Machine: Universal Robots robots are flexible, cost-effective and safe. They are designed to work collaboratively with people, optimizing machining processes in different industries, thanks to their versatility and adaptability.
Quality, Waste Management and Continuous Improvement
The following key technologies, focused on quality and waste management, will be demonstrated on this island.
• Iberoptics – Waste Sorter with Hyperspectral Technology: Iberoptics’ waste sorting system uses a conveyor belt equipped with a hyperspectral camera, which accurately simulates the separation and classification processes of different types of materials. Hyperspectral technology allows the analysis of the full spectrum of light reflected by objects, which facilitates the
accurate identification of materials, even those that are difficult to distinguish with the naked eye.
• LM Solutions – Exoskeletons and Digital Whiteboard: It will present innovations in ergonomics and continuous improvement through its exoskeletons and digital whiteboard. The exoskeletons are designed to improve safety and ergonomics in the work environment, providing physical support to workers and reducing the risk of injury in tasks that require physical effort. On the other hand, the digital whiteboard integrates software and hardware, offering an interactive platform that facilitates the application of the A3 methodology and collaboration in the analysis of processes to optimize team performance.
Collaborative Integration Island - Technologies
The following key technologies, focused on collaborative integration, will be demonstrated on this island:
• ABB – Collaborative Welding Robot: ABB’s Cobot Arc Welding, installed on the GoFa cobot, simplifies the creation of welding sequences thanks to the Easy Teach device, which allows welding points to be programmed using lead-through programming without the need for a flexpendant. This innovative solution improves productivity by facilitating high-precision welding in a safe and collaborative manner,
optimizing times, quality and operational efficiency by allowing fluid interaction between operators and the robot.
• LM Solutions – Racking and Order Picking Cart: LM Solutions’ racking and order picking cart system optimizes the storage and distribution of products,
allowing operators to pick and deliver items quickly and efficiently. By integrating it into the logistics process, it improves workflow, reduces times and errors, and increases productivity,
facilitating fluid collaboration between systems and operators.
Collaborative Integration Island - Technologies
The following key technologies, focused on safety and ergonomics, will be demonstrated on this island.
• ASECOS – Flammable Cabinets: Designed to offer safe storage in extreme temperatures (fire) for at least 90 minutes, using calcium carbonate insulation and passive and active safety systems, including alarms. Their robustness and ventilation guarantee the protection of flammable materials.
• ASECOS – Battery Charging Cabinet: Specially designed for charging and storing lithium-ion batteries, these cabinets include temperature control and monitoring systems to prevent overheating and other risks.
• BISAFETY – Exoskeletons: Exoskeletons are designed to improve safety and ergonomics in the work environment, providing physical support to workers and reducing the risk of injury in tasks that require physical effort.
