Mecanizados Sinc is a company located in Alcoy, province of Alicante, specialized in precision machining for metal parts. Established in 2001, our company has its roots in Jufrán Valls, a family business with a long-standing tradition in the machining sector dating back to 1994.
As the second generation within the metal-mechanical industry, we have adapted and evolved over the years. We have transformed our workshop into an industrial company focused on constant upgrading to stay at the forefront of the machining sector.
The city of Alcoy has a remarkable industrial history, particularly in the textile and paper industries. From the late 13th century to the early 14th century, there is evidence of textile manufacturing in Alcoy, which benefited from the river currents flowing through the city.
Parallel to the development of the textile industry, auxiliary trades such as locksmithing and turning emerged in 1764. Over time, foundries and large metallurgical workshops became essential elements of the local industrial fabric in the 19th century.
During the 18th century, industry in Alcoy experienced rapid growth, and in the early 19th century, the first steam-powered textile machines were introduced in 1832. This allowed for the development of mechanical looms and, alongside them, the metallurgical industry. By 1950, the city already boasted around 30 foundries and metal-mechanical workshops.
Alcoy positioned itself as one of the first cities in Spain to achieve significant industrial development. From 1750 to 1970, local companies adapted to changing circumstances and strategic shifts. Francisco Valls’ father, who learned his trade in various companies in the locality and the surrounding area, repaired and manufactured machinery for different sectors.
In 1974, Francisco Valls established his own milling and turning workshop with a vision of constant innovation in automatic machinery. Since then, Mecanizados Sinc has stood out for its commitment to quality and excellence in precision machining.
