Description

The half-hexagonal insert nut is a mechanical fixing element that provides a grooving feature in applications with a single-side access that require a very high resistance to rotation. It is ideal for applications with thin metal sheets, tubes, extrusion or plastics.

It offers a great mechanical resistance. Compared to round body insert nuts, the half-hexagonal shape of the section and its inner hole substantially increase the resistance to rotation and extraction in metal sheets. The result is a homogeneous riveting that ensures a solid and high quality joint.
