Thermal deburring is a system intended for removing burrs on components made of oxidizable materials that come from specific processes (machining, die casting – injection, etc…). The thermal deburring process uses, a chemical-physical principle, the heat generated by the ignition of a suitable fuel mixture, as in the case of internal combustion engines.
The energy obtained uses the oxygen, contained in the original mixture, to eliminate burrs, debris and unwanted material present on the edges, within the cavities and more or less hidden surfaces of the pieces to be burred. The threaded parts, which are present in the parts, are not affected by the process due to its geometry.
